Worcesters Memorial, Tilly

Memorial to the men of the Worcestershire Regiment, near an obelisk memorial for the First World War. The Worcesters memorial is a boulder of Malvern granite, from the Malvern Hills in South Worcestershire. Donated by The Malvern Hills Conservators. There is an inscription in English and French on bronze plaques. The stone was taken to this location by Worcester Branch members Dave Plant and Stan Berrow, with the help of two veterans from the conflict of the advance towards Tilly, the late Jack Bullock Of Malvern and Bill Edwardes of Eastliegh Hampshire.
